How is remaining capacity assessed?
By sampling the media itself.
Samples are taken at depth through the bed.
Testing shows remaining adsorption capacity.
The inlet face saturates first.
That profile predicts the change point.
Pressure drop tells you nothing here.
What about disposal?
It follows what has been adsorbed.
Spent media holds the captured contaminant.
Some duties produce regulated waste.
Volume is considerable on a large bed.
Arrange the route before the first change.
Storage before collection needs space.
