Those answers separate the good ones.
What about spares in ten years?
It is a fair question and rarely answered.
The fixture is expected to last that long.
The electronics may not be supported.
Ask before buying, not after.
A model with no answer is a risk.
Does it still work in a power cut?
It depends entirely on the model.
Some flush mechanically regardless.
Others stop being a WC at all.
Ask specifically, and treat it as a spec.
Rather than a detail.
Is a bidet seat the simpler option?
Frequently, and worth comparing.
It adds the same washing function.
To a pan that stays a pan.
And can be removed or replaced alone.
Without changing the fixture.
